5 Best Places for Family Portraits in Dorset

If you're unsure of your kid's attention span or visiting a new space; utilising your own garden is perfect as they'll be calm and happy in a familiar environment without worrying about them running off. Plus, you don't have to worry about travelling!

2. The Beaches during the off-season

Whether it be Henistbury Head, Sandbanks, Upton or Bournemouth - the beach is a fun place to get gorgeous shots of the family, whilst having a fun day out! The best times to go is April-June before they get busy but still have warmth and nice weather.

Another amazing nature location, with trails to explore and a brilliant play park! If you're feeling fancy, they have some brilliant historic architecture as well with facilities and a place to lunch afterwards. Brilliant in the springtime when all the flowers are waking up.
